An email reply
The whole world is on the internet these days. The whole world? No, a small corner remains...
A few days ago, I received a reply to an email enquiry.
Not a Re:, a real reply.
In an envelope. Stamped.
In the envelope, a printout of my email.
In the margin, scribbled in classic blue ink, the actual reply.
With signature. Not a .signature, a signature.
I checked the paper for signs of carbon paper, but it seems no cc: was sent.
This mail deserves to be framed. It's a classic. In fourteen years of email, I've never seen this.
