Near the top of Monta Roen. This mountain slopes gently on the side of Val di Non, but the side of the Adige is nearly vertical. So the clouds coming from the northeast rise up along the ridge first, and then spill over. It's impressive.

In the neighbouring town of Malosco, the old castle badly needs refurbishment. My thoughts were going out... restoring the characteristic stone elements and the walled garden, opening a luxury hotel, with a large wellness area... anyone willing to invest a couple of million?
