Coming out of hibernation
The beginning of April, and finally, the winter seems to have passed. I feel as if I'm
coming out of a long hibernation, having holed up in the comfort of my cave.
A dozen personal emails from friends are sitting in my inbox, marked guiltily
as unread after reading, to remind me to answer them.
Haven't gone out dancing. Haven't been to the rowing club for four months.
Just watching movies at home, and practicing a little yoga with
an old tape.
Haven't written, haven't sung.
Slowly, slowly waking up. Feeling more outgoing. Feeling more sociable.
Time to shed off the winter and the dark nights.
Time to shed off the depression duvet.
Ok world, here I come!
