Things I've done this week:
- Met Gigi in real life after two years of emailing - very intense, the meeting is still in progress. update: yum, pancakes.
- Drove the Autobahn for the first time.
- Finished my house. It is in colours I chose now, lighting is much better, the new mattress I ordered finally arrived thursday. My friend Dianne who helped me plan and brainstorm about the whole thing saw the end result Saturday and was amazed - 'it is male and warm at the same time!'. Now that's a compliment. And now I am ready to let it go.
- Let go my dream of being an artist, whether a singer, a photographer or a writer.
- ...and then met the Dutch Lennon (or McCartney, depending on your viewpoint), Hennie Vrienten at the bakery and talked raison bread and the excellent bargain that is their organic chocolat chip cookies. Nothing more. I didn't need to tell him I recognized him, no need to tell him "I'm a singer, too!". Sweet, simple, quiet.
- Seen miracles happen. Seen people I've know very well for a long time change - making the quantum leap. I don't know what it is I'm seeing actually, just that it is very, very real.
- Found my goal in life. To break the cycle of birth and death.
